Some recent additions to this section include:
Practice Transformation - The Academy believes that family physicians will have to make major changes in their practices to succeed in the turbulent times to come, and it is committed to helping its members make those changes.
Patient-Centered Medical Home - A patient-centered medical home is an approach to providing comprehensive primary care for people of all ages and medical conditions. It is a way for a physician-led medical practice, chosen by the patient, to integrate health care services for that patient who confronts a complex and confusing health care system.
AAFP Center for Health Information Technology - The Center for Health IT is the focal point of the AAFP's technical expertise, advocacy, research, and member services associated with medical office automation and computerization.
Health Plan Grievance Registry (Members Only) - The information gathered from the grievance registry is used to track emerging trends to further shape AAFP advocacy efforts. If a clear pattern of grievances warrants, the AAFP may directly pursue health plan compliance issues.
