This tool is based on the 1997 (Update 2002) Guidelines developed by the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP), of which the AAFP is a sponsoring organization, and was made possible by an educational grant from Schering-Plough.

Guidelines are not a substitute for clinical judgement. User accepts responsibility for all patient care decisions made while using this application.

Please note: There are two versions of the installation files available for downloading. Instructions are provided with the files. Windows users may want to use the auto installer version which will automatically prepare the files to be installed on your Palm device the next time you perform a Hotsync. Mac users (or those who prefer to install the files manually on their Palm device) should choose the manual installer version.
