STFM Basic Research Skills Training -- Workshop II: Research Skills - Getting Started with the Basics. This workshop orients novice faculty researchers to the basics of educational research design, planning, implementation, and communication. Participants have an opportunity to refine a research question, determine the research design most appropriate for this specific question, ask questions of experienced researchers, and share ideas for future research.
