2008 Prevention and Control of Influenza

The American Academy of Family Physicians has adopted the 2008 recommendations for the prevention and control of influenza, which are consistent with that of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), which advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on immunizations.

The recommendations on "Prevention and Control of Influenza, 2008" of the ACIP are posted on the CDC website. These recommendations were developed by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, with input from the American Academy of Family Physicians.
